Making Friends - Mending Hearts

Mini-Blessings, a non-profit organization, funded by private donations and fund raising.

Volunteers and Donors keep our programs operating!

All of our services, both on and off-site are FREE.  The only way we can continue to provide these services is through the kind and generous donations of others.

In addition to cash donations, in-kind donations are also welcomed.  Some of our special needs include:
  • Good quality grass hay (always a need)
  • Materials for Sensory Trail and maintenance

Your blessings can be sent to Mini-Blessings Farm at:

PO Box 1475, Buena Vista, CO  81211

or brought by the Farm at:

15732 County Road 306, Buena Vista, Colorado.

To carry on and expand our mission, Mini-Blessings can use the helping hands of anyone who believes in sharing with others and loves horses – little ones especially! Previous horse experience is not required, but is helpful.  Here are just a few opportunities:

*Horse Walkers – all of our horses need daily exercise as well as daily grooming

*Mini-Handlers – come along with the miniatures on visits to schools, medical facilities, private homes, speaking engagements, etc.

*Side Walkers - provide safety and support for students

*Farm Maintenance Helpers – assist in the feeding of the horses, clean-up, raking and shoveling, etc.

*Therapists – use the minis to work with mentally and physically challenged persons

*Bookkeeper – keep our records up to snuff

*Public Outreach – contact individuals and organizations that would benefit from the healing power of a horse

*Public relations – help get the word out about these mini ambassadors - connect with us on Facebook and Twitter too! (Mini Blessings Non Profit on Facebook and @MiniBlessingsNP on Twitter)

*Legal Advice – as a non-profit organization we need all the help we can get

*Fund Raising - ideas and help organizing fund raising events
